These practices will be applied to English Language Arts classrooms and support implementation of curriculum aligned to the Common Core State Standards.

The outcome of this series will be field tested assessments aligned to the Common Core State Standards. Models of formative, interim and benchmark assessments will be identified and/ or developed and implemented in the classroom. Protocols for looking at student work to inform instruction and grading will be practiced with real student work.
